Thus, Lord Kubera is considered to be the half-brother of the demon king Ravana. The kingdom of Lanka was originally with Lord Kubera, but later Ravana took it under his control.

Lord Kubera's wife's name is Kuberi, who is also known by the names Yakshi, Bhadra and Charvi. According to mythological beliefs, Lord Kubera had sons named Nalakuber, Manigriva and Mayuraj and a daughter named Meenakshi.
