Hindola Samapt

Introduction to the Festival:

Hindola Samapt is the concluding day of the Hindola Utsav, a devotional festival celebrated during the month of Shravan. During this festival, Lord Swaminarayan or Lord Vishnu is placed on beautifully decorated swings. The festival begins on Shravan Shukla Ekadashi and ends on Purnima (Full Moon Day). Hindola Samapt marks the last day of this joyful celebration.

The Rituals of Hindola Samapt:

On this final day, devotees perform special puja, offer the last arti, and respectfully remove the deity from the swing. Temples are adorned with final-day decorations, bhajans (devotional songs) are sung with deep devotion, and the atmosphere is filled with happiness and gratitude.

Spiritual Significance:

Hindola Samapt symbolizes the conclusion of a spiritually rich period in which devotees lovingly serve the Lord daily. It is not just an end, but a renewal of divine connection. The love, joy, and devotion experienced throughout the Hindola festival remain deeply rooted in the hearts of devotees.
