Yudhisthira said: ‘Oh God! What is the name of Ekadashi of Shukla Paksha of Aso Mas and what is the fruit of fasting?’
Then Shri Krishna Bhagwan said: ‘Hey Rajan! The name of Ekadashi of Shukal Paksha of Aso Mas is‘ Pashankusha ’. On the day of Ekadashi, Vishnu should be worshiped for the attainment of the desired fruit. Through this worship, man attains the world of heaven. Vishnu is obtained by saluting the Lord .And man does not have to suffer the pain of Yama .The Vishnu devotee who condemns Shivaji or the Shiva devotee who condemns Vishnu goes to hell. The fruit is not even equal to the sixteenth part of the fruit of this Ekadashi, meaning there is no sacred date in the same world of this Ekadashi fast.
From this vow of Ekadashi man gets a healthy body and beautiful woman and wealth and in the end he attains heaven. The ten men of the party, disguised as Vishnu, are adorned with beautiful ornaments and go to Vishnu Lok. The human being who fasts on Pashankusha Ekadashi of Shukla Paksha of Aso Mas gets Hari Lok.
The human being who donates land, cows, food, clothes, umbrellas, upahan etc. on this Ekadashi day does not get the vision of Yamaraja. Heaven goes to the world. '
