Shri Krishna spoke: ‘Rajan! Concentrate and listen to this ancient story which was told by Vasishthaji at the request of King Dilip. '
King Dilip asked: ‘Munishreshtha! I want to hear one thing. Which Ekadashi falls in the Shukla Paksha of Chaitra month? '
Vashishtji spoke: ‘Rajan! Ekadashi called 'Kamada' comes in the Shukla party of Chaitramas. That is the supreme virtue. It's a firebrand for sinful fuel. '
There is a thing of ancient times. There was a beautiful town called Nagpur where golden palaces were built. The town was inhabited by Pundrik and other people of the Mahabhayankar Nag caste. A king named Pundarik ruled there in those days. Gandharva Kinnar and Apsaras also lived in the town. There was a great Apsara, whose name was Lalita. There was also a Gandharva named Lalit. They both lived as husband and wife. The two were obsessed with each other's work. The idol of her husband was always in Lalita's heart. And in Lalit's heart was the eternal abode of Sundari Lalita.
It's a matter of days. Nagraj Pundarik was sitting in the Rajya Sabha and having fun. Lalit was singing at that time. But Annie was not with him. As she sang, she remembered Lalita. So her legs stopped moving, and her tongue started sticking out.
The best Karkotak of Nagjati came to know about the anguish running in Lalit's mind. So he told King Pundarik that his footsteps could be stopped and that his singing was impure. Nagraj Pundarik's eyes turned red with anger when he heard about Karkotak. He cursed the singing lustful Lalit.
‘Wicked! Even when you sang in front of me, my wife was overwhelmed. So become a demon. ’With the curse of Maharaj Pundarik, the Gandharva became a demon with a terrible face, monstrous eyes and a form that creates fear only from Java, became such a demon and began to enjoy the fruits of karma.
Lalita was very worried when she saw her husband's ugly figure. He began to suffer a lot. 'What can I do ? Where to go My husband is suffering from a curse! '
She started walking behind her husband in the dead forest crying. In the forest and a beautiful monastery appeared, where a sage was sitting quietly. He had no animosity towards any animal. Lalita immediately went there and bowed to Muni and stood before him. The sage was very kind. Seeing the miserable woman, he said, 'Hey Kanya!' who are you ? Where does it come from Tell me the truth! ‘
Lalita said: ‘Hey Mahamuni! There is a Gandharva named Virdhandhava. I am the daughter of the same Mahatma. My name is Lalita. My husband has become a demon because of his sins. Seeing his condition, I have no peace, Maharaj! Please tell, whats the story of them big puppys ..... Vipravar! Teach me that through virtue my husband gets rid of the demon vagina! '
The sage said: ‘Bhadre! This time it is the Ekadashi date of Chaitra Mas Shukla Paksha 'Kamada' which is the best of all sins. You are the solemn devotee of it. And dedicate to your husband the virtue of this vow! Offering good deeds will instantly remove the guilt of its curse. '
‘Rajan! Lalita was very happy to hear these promises of Muni. She fasted on the day of Ekadashi and on the day of Baras, in front of the Brahmarshi, in front of Lord Vigraha of Lord Vasudeva, for the salvation of her husband, said:
Vashishtji says, 'Just by saying this, Lalit's sins were removed at that moment. He assumed the divine body. Its demonic value is gone, and Gandharvatva is attained again. '
‘Nrupashreshtha! Both the husband and wife took on a more beautiful look than before the influence of Kamada Ekadashi and got on the plane and became very beautiful. Knowing this, Ekadashi fast should be done diligently. '
‘I have described this vow to you in the interest of the people. Rajan! Reading and listening to this brings the fruits of Vajpayee Yajna. '
