In the town of Suvarnapur, a very proud king named Abhayasena ruled. The prosperity of the town was not surpassed. Anangasena was the name of the king's virtuous cultured and very good-natured and beautiful queen. The queen was very humble and pious. She often persuaded the king not to be arrogant, but the king never listened.
One day, while sitting by the palace window, the queen noticed a group of women performing a ritual by the riverbank. Curious, she immediately instructed her maid to find out what the beautifully adorned women, dressed in sixteen traditional ornaments, were doing.The maid hurried to the river and asked the women, “What are you all doing?”
The women replied, “We are observing the Dashama Vrat. The ritual involves taking ten threads of cotton, tying ten knots in them, and applying vermilion (kumkum) to each knot.”The queen told the king about this. But the king, filled with pride, said arrogantly, “O Devi! These women are doing the Dashama Vrat, but we already have everything – wealth, power, and prosperity. What good can this Dashama or her vrat do for us? There is no need for you to observe this vrat.”Thus, the king disrespected and insulted Dashama.
The queen was heartbroken to hear the king's proud promise. She knew that in spite of all persuasion, the arrogant king was not going to be one. The king insulted the vow of Dashama by being crushed in ego, pride and arrogance. So Dashama's anger did not go away. Mae came in the king's dream and said the same word. Fall… '
The next day the neighbor came up with a fresh army. King Abhay Singh was terrified by such an unexpected attack. To save his life, he ran away through the forest with the queen and his two concubines. The king went ahead, explaining to the weeping queen. Both legs slip due to fatigue. There are thorns in the side of the feet. So the pain is not over. Along the way came a fence. The money earned by selling it is enough to fill the stomach. Thus day after day began to pass. The month of Ashadh has come. Anangasena started the fast of Dasha in the month of Ashadh i.e. on the day of Divasa. Ten Sivas Nakorda fasted in Dasha Vrata. And worshiped Mani.
Seeing the immense devotion of Rani Anangasena, Dashama's anger subsided. Mae blessed the queen and said that her husband will be back tomorrow. That same night Dashama went to the king of the town in a dream and ordered that he had imprisoned an innocent man. Your kunwar is green in its mosala and will come back in the morning.
As soon as the morning fell, Kunwar returned with Dashanami's grace. The king himself went and released Abhayasena from prison and apologized. Not only that, he also gave a lot of money. The king and queen rode in a chariot to Survanpur. Along the way came the sister town. To the king, the jar was made of gold. The jar had a gold chain and a sash. So did my sister. Insisting, she took her brother and sister home.
After staying for two days, the king and queen went ahead. Wow. I saw Dasha standing on the bank of Vavna in the form of an old Doshi. Both the bachelors are standing holding her finger. The king and queen immediately recognized Mataji and fell at Mana's feet like a stick. Dashama said giving such a vision in its original form. 'Hey - the king took that pride and insulted my vows. So I was angry with you. But now your pride has been swallowed up. Also, your queen has made my vows with price so I am happy. You will get your kingdom back!'
'King Abhayasen fell at Dashama's feet and said, 'Mother, O merciful one, no one can pass your test in Kali Yuga, so never do such a coup.'
Dashama said with a sweet smile, 'I accept your words. Whoever hears or hears my story in Kali Yuga, his condition will always be good! Thus Dashama disappeared. The king and queen both came to their kingdom with a bunch. Abhayasena's general defeated the neighboring king and regained the kingdom.
