Yogini Ekadashi

Yogini Ekadashi

Lord Krishna says, ‘O Yudhisthira! The features of Sankhya Yoga, Bhakti Yoga and Karma Yoga are the same. At the root of knowledge, devotion and karma is samtvayoga. Fearlessness, purification of conscience, worship of Acharya and self-knowledge obtained through scriptures and concentration in the soul through the conclusion of the senses is called yoga. These include charity, breath, abstinence, sacrifice, devotion, penance, simplicity and purification etc.

Yoga is a divine virtue, it illuminates life, makes life great. Yoga explains how to do devotion. Yoga, fasting etc. give courage to live life. Yoga, fasting, penance, meditation, perception, samadhi etc. are divine elements.

Thoughts are distorted without fasting. Mangal vision of looking at the victim is achieved through yoga. The world seems to him not a subject of sacrifice, but a subject of devotion. The world is not a matter of sacrifice, it is a matter of devotion. One has to do penance through fasting, one has to do sadhana. ‘Tapo dvandva sahanam’ Tapa means to endure dilemmas like happiness and sorrow. Vratdhari for the attainment of a set goal, whatever happiness or suffering he endures is vrat, penance. If there is a goal in life, then penance comes. Like vows, penance is also a virtue of divine wealth.

Upasana means sadhana. The final step of sadhana is samadhi. There is a state of yoga in which the yogi or the seeker has to go through the pre-salvation state.

Yogashastra insists on the ultimate attainment of Mokshapada through Samadhi. In the state of samadhi, the seeker succeeds in achieving the ultimate goal or ultimate goal of his worship. This is the state in which the seeker realizes or realizes his pure Chidanandamaya form, which is the state of Samadhi.

According to the terminology of Yogashastra, when the mind is found in the shape of a goal or goal, rather than meditating, it is not different from its goal, at that time that meditation is called 'Samadhi'.

In Yogadarshan, Marhish Patanjali says, 'When meditation is the realization or realization of only the goal and the mind's own form becomes zero, then that meditation becomes samadhi.'

Worship during Ekadashi fast brings spiritual upliftment and liberation to the worshiper or the devotee. Worship can also lead to worldly upliftment of the worshiper, he attains Riddhi-siddhi, Yash-kirti etc. Worship is a scientific ritual to awaken the unconscious mind. This is an important tool to connect your conscience with God.

Faith, devotion, meditation and yoga are the four means of liberation. Devotion is the best of these. Contemplation of the self is devotion, contemplation of its true form is devotion. It is devotion that leads to the examination of one's true form. Faith is the complement of devotion, the motivator of meditation. The final step of sadhana or worship is samadhi.

Lord Krishna says to Dharmaraja, ‘This yogi’s Ekadashi is the destroyer of all sins and the savior of those drowned in the world ocean. The story of Yogini Ekadashi is as follows.

King Kuber of Alkapur was a great devotee of Lord Shankar. His servant named 'Hemmali' used to bring worship materials. The servant's wife, Vishalakshi, was very handsome. He was in love with her all day. One day flowers and fruits etc. could not be delivered to Kuber's palace for worship. Kubera waited till late to worship Shiva.

Kubera is said to have cursed him in anger, saying, 'Your body will be leprous and you will be deprived of your wife, you will fall into the world of death.'/n/nHemmali bows to Markandeya Muni and asks for the removal of the curse. Munivarya commands, 'If you fast on Yogini Ekadashi, your leprosy will disappear and the pain of wife's bereavement will also go away.'

According to the order of Markandeya Muni, this servant ceremoniously fasted Yogini Ekadashi. Due to the effect of the vow, his body became like Kanchan. He had a happy reunion with his wife in heaven and he was happy. '

Fasting on Ekadashi of this incomparable yogi gives the fruit of feeding eighty thousand Brahmins. This Ekadashi is considered to be Mahapunyadayaka and Papanashini.
Mahapapraphasamni Mahapunyaphalaprada
Shuchi Krishnaikadashi is the nrup of the alleged yogi.
Yoga teaches restraint of body and mind. True yoga cannot be achieved without oneness with the Lord. That yoga can be achieved by surrendering at the feet of the Lord, hence the nickname 'Yogini Ekadashi'.
